This small town is located on the border with Chile, reside Lake Buenos Aires. It has a special microclimate, which probably explains why some many aboriginals used to choose this site in order to spend their last days. It is this microclimate which enables the settling down of farms devoted to the production of fine fruits, especially cherry, greatly appreciated in international markets. Many excursions leave from here towards Cevallos Mountain, yet others make their way towards beautiful camping sites. Trekking is also very popular here. |
