This is a small tourist villa located north of Viedma lake and known as Argentina's Capital city of Trekking. From here climbers can reach two of the most coveted summits in the world: Fitz Roy mountain as well as Torre mountain. Another recommended visit is La Laguna del Desierto or Desert Lagoon, beautiful spot surrounded by the Patagonian Andean wood that enables visitors to catch a glimpse of the Huemul Glacier and the Cordon Vespignano. Patagonian lamb, cooked in a variety of styles, is the most distinctive dish of the region.
