PROVINCE OF SANTA FE

Remarkably flat, this province has most of its inhabitants occupying the southern half of the territory, close to Parana river. Thanks to its abundant and varied cattle and farm production as well as its many industrial activities, including petrochemical, oil, textile, food, iron and steel companies.

This province has been the site where some major historical events took place, thus giving birth to the Republic: our national flag was created here; decisive battles for our Independence were fought on this land; our National Constitution was shaped here. Having a remarkable cultural life, this province houses a number of Universities which attract students from all over the country.
