PROVINCE OF SAN LUIS

Situated in the region of the Sierras Pampeanas, its strategic location makes it the center of a network of routes by means of which you have access to every corner of the country.

Its landscape includes low mountains, rivers and streams, many of which have thermal springs. Its economy is based on salt exploitation and cattle and farm activities. However, tourism has gradually become a major source of profits and labour.

Its lands are ideal for adventure tourism, animal watching and photographic safaris. In its lagoons - with fresh and salt water - water sport and sport fishing can be practiced, and its thermal waters are very popular among those visitors in need of rest and pleasure, surrounded by peaceful natural landscapes.

As its cuisine is not highly influenced by immigration, tourists are able to enjoy some local dishes with colonial flavour: roasted young goat, humitas, vizcachas and armadillos, a pleasant surprise for the most audacious gourmets.
