BUENOS AIRES
This vast province, boasting a surface larger than some European countries, possesses many of Argentina 's biggest cities. Some are commercial and industrial; others, smaller ones, devoted to cattle and farm activities, yet others mainly focused on tourism. The great fertility of the soil, together with its technology, turn this province into the most developed center of cattle and farm production in the country, and one of the most advanced in the world. Its highly specialized establishments are often visited by professionals and entrepreneurs from all corners of the world. Buenos Aires welcomed a remarkable number of immigrants at the beginning of the last century, whose generous contribution helped to develop the basis of a great cultural diversity, clearly reflected upon its institutions, its architecture and its cultural centers, with clear Spanish, Italian and French influences.

The variety of options offered by the tourist industry is remarkably wide. Its seaside resorts in the Atlantic coast can be huge and commercial, such as Mar del Plata, or smaller and more family-oriented such as Pinamar or San Bernardo . Other possibilities include rural tourism in ancient ranches, with the unique chance of tasting the traditional country outdoor barbecue, apart from visits to small towns such as Mercedes, Tigre, Pilar and Lujan, and adventure tourism in Tandil and Sierra de la Ventana.
